There’s nothing like seasonal, fresh oranges that are so juicy you feel like you’re drinking orange juice straight from a machine! Speaking of orange juice, lately, I’ve been craving a fresh drink with oranges.
And I’m not talking the store-bought kind. After all, studies show that store-bought orange juice has lost all of its vitamin C by the time it’s stocked on the shelves (not to mention the added sugars and preservatives).
This incredibly simple, low sugar recipe has none of the additives and ALL of the vitamin C, antioxidants, and flavor.
Do yourself and your immune system a favor and drink up!
Creamy Orange Julius
Ingredients
3 – 4 medium-sized oranges, peeled/de-veined/de-seeded
1 can of coconut milk (like this)
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp honey
Ice cubes
Instructions
1. Peel, de-vein, and de-seed the oranges.
2. In a blender, add all liquid ingredients and blend until smooth. Then, add as many ice cubes for desired consistency, and blend. Enjoy with an orange wedge in a glass, if you’d like!
